Miscellaneous Morgan

Yes, our child consumes us so our blog posts are pretty much all her.

We got a swing and bouncer from someone for the new
baby and Morgan just crawled in to "chill"

She is so tech savvy and proud of it

Rockin' in the swing!

Birthday Girl

For Morgan's birthday we had a great turn out of people to celebrate with us. We had pizza for lunch and then cut the cake. I made a book cake titled "My 1st Year By: Morgan".

Morgan did NOT want to be in the highchair.

She was dissecting the cake - still unsure of it

"Oh this is yummy"

one year older

Our baby is all grown up. Yesterday Morgan turned 1 and it feels like time just flew by. Where did this year go? She really is so big now. Here is a short list of some of the many things she is now doing.
  1. gives high-fives
  2. says ma, dad, hi and bye (as well as other things we are sure are words)
  3. waves
  4. buckles her seat belt, still in the early stages of doing it though
  5. dances
  6. texts and calls people - sorry if she does it to you!
  7. walks and trying to run
  8. imitates what you do
  9. and most of the other things babies do at this age

More Morgan

We got home from a friend's and as soon as we pulled Morgan out of her car seat she went straight to the books. It's all about priorities I guess.

Christmas Time

Well school is officially over for me - FOREVER! I am now a BYU Graduate. It hasn't really sunk in I don't think, but maybe it will when David has homework and class and I don't. Now I am just enjoying my 2 mornings of work a week and the smell of our beautiful Christmas tree :) And at last I am done (except for one) with my Christmas decoration projects. It has been fun.

The only thing I "made" in this is the vase of beans -
white, green split peas, and red kidney - Christmas colors :)

This is our gummy bear house we made at the Zabriskie's. We weren't as brave as them with their tower and 2-story but we (I think mostly me) are proud of our house and landscape! The gummy bears all playing in the snow in the front yard.

Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas Season as much as we are!

Good in the Bad

The house is a mess, the sink is full of dirty dishes, clothes are waiting to be folded, and dinner needs to be made, but the couch feels way too good to abandon. And through it all Morgan is still just as cute as ever.
