My baby is growing up - 9 weeks today. She is too big for a lot of her newborn clothes now, mostly because she is so long. She got her 2 month immunizations today - my poor baby, she didn't like it one bit. Weighing in at 8 lbs 15.5 oz and 22 3/4 inches long; she is a beauty.

I'm obsessed with Orange Juice, and Clementines. We recently got some and I can't get enough of it. Oddly enough, I strongly dislike the smell of oranges.


I went to the ER twice last week due to a 2nd kidney infection in 2 mo. The antibiotics they gave me the first visit weren't working - I still felt everything. The new antibiotics are SO much better and we are thankful to Nathan, David's brother, for counseling us - without him saying so I wouldn't have gone back in. I saw the Urologist on Tuesday and hopefully the plan he has me on will work.

Baby Blessing

With all my family in town we decided to have Morgan's Baby Blessing. It was beautiful. Being in the mother's position for such an event was a new experience and in a way added to my awareness of the reality of our new life.

David's lifelong friend, Anderson, and his wife came out here
for Christmas so were able to be at the blessing.
