Maybe David and I are making up for staying in one home all growing up because now we can't seem to stay put. That's right, we are moving... again. I have a great deal of mixed feelings regarding this new decision but it seems like the best one. We absolutely love the apartment we are in, don't get me wrong, but there have been recent events that have pushed us to the conclusion we need to get a new place.

When we found this apartment we were told by the people we were buying the contract from, as well as the manager, that the rent goes down $200 in the spring/summer which made the average for each month an AMAZING deal. The time has rolled around for resigning and the new contract said nothing about the decrease in rent. So we inquired with the manager (who took over for the manager that was there when we moved in) and she knew nothing about that. After it was confirmed with the owner that we were indeed misled when we originally signed the contract, we knew this place was no longer in our price range. On top of which, because of our doubling of laundry with the addition of Morgan (who knew such a small person could make such a mess!) we no longer wanted to burden David's brother with letting us use their washer/dryer and doing it at a laundry mat is at least an additional $25 a month. So we saw this move as an opportunity to find a place with free washer/dryer access. Yet another reason for us leaving is the management. We have gotten unpleasant vibes from them since they moved in upstairs and we haven't enjoyed working with them. Maintenance has been a HUGE problem and there are noticeable issues that have been around since we moved in 5 months ago and despite multiple notifications they have received regarding them, nothing has been done.

We do love the size of this apartment and how great it has been to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but we will venture out yet again and find some place else we love and can call home.
